Eurostop Butterfly Valve

Not just a valve but an opportunity to torque less and achieve more

Range: DN150-2000
Applications: Isolation device on pipelines, waterworks and hydroelectric plants. Available for potable water and sewage applications
Pressure Rating: PN10, PN16 or PN25
Versions: Manual, buried, flange mounted for actuator, actuated

Eurostop Butterfly valves are the modern solution for network engineers providing many cost saving benefits compared to the traditional gate valve:

  • Less depth of cover required
  • Reduced amount of concrete for valve chamber
  • CO2 saving from reduced concrete usage
  • Smaller/lower cost of actuator to operate the valve
  • Lower unit cost in large diameters
  • Large Gate Valves may need secondary bypass
  • Reduced installation time

Eurostop Butterfly valves are designed with 30 years of experience, utilising the most up to date design software; optimising hydraulic performance, durability and sealing:

Main features
  • Low head loss in the fully open position and a perfectly watertight seal in the closed position
  • Ductile iron body and disc giving high strength to weight ratio and a safety factor in excess of 4
  • Stainless steel shafts, seat and bolts to ensure long-term smooth, corrosion-free operation
  • Sealing seat in 316L stainless steel cold rolled into place to prevent thermal stresses and blowholes
  • Double eccentricity of the disc leads to lower operating torque and gasket drag
  • Valve body coated in WRAS approved blue fusion bonded epoxy in accordance with EN14901
  • Eurostop Valves fully comply with EN 1074 - 1 and 2, EN 593 and ISO 10631. Flange drilling to EN1092-2
